Huge Redbubble Update: New Art and Products for Fall 2022

It’s been quite a while since I wrote about the newest artwork and products from Redbubble! Some are more recent additions than others, but I’ve been spending a lot of time lately both bulking up my portfolio and formatting older art to be available for purchase on newer items, so let’s explore everything that’s new and coming soon to my storefront. As usual, links to pictured products can be found in the captions.

1. Aprons

Pictured: Cake or Death? and Eat Me, Bite Me

It’s still grilling season, right? Good news – with Redbubble’s new sublimated-print aprons, you can feel like a dapper chef no matter when or where you like to cook! Available in one unisex size that fits most adult-sized bodies, these aprons are 100% polyester and machine washable, and also feature a sturdy neckband and long ties that can be wrapped around the back and secured in the front. I felt like this product looked perfect with my newly combined Eat Me, Bite me pattern! Click here to see the full selection of aprons.

2. Fitted Masks

Pictured: Inventory – Trans Pride Blue, Dragonscale – Amethyst Purple, Dragonscale – Topaz Yellow, and Potion Panic – Green

Very keen to talk about Redbubble’s fitted masks! These are designed with functionality and comfort in mind, and they stay on SO much better than the flat face masks. This is partly thanks to the low-profile, glasses-friendly nose wire that keeps the mask snug against the wearer’s face, but the bead toggles on each ear loop strap also help it stay in place while ensuring a comfortable fit. The fitted masks come in two sizes: regular (for most adult faces) and small (for ages 13 and up, including very small adults). Each mask is made with an outer layer of polyester featuring the printed artwork and two layers of cotton fabric on the inside facing, and can safely be machine washed and dried at home.

I love how my repeating designs look on these masks, especially my Inventory Pride and Potion Panic variants, but I feel like my brand new Dragonscale patterns look practically comic convention-worthy! Browse all of the fitted masks in my shop by clicking here.

3. Baseball Caps, Bucket Hats, and Dad Hats

Pictured: Horny for Halloween, Cake or Death?, and Born Weird – White

If you’re a hat person, this section is for you. Redbubble now carries one-size-fits-all baseball caps, dad hats, and bucket hats that are perfect for vacation, back to school, or just spending sunny months weirding out your normal friends and wishing it was October already. Let’s go over the differences and details:

Baseball caps are Redbubble’s standard brimmed cap. Five structured fabric panels make up each hat, which means it’s rigid enough to hold its shape even when it’s not on your head. This hat also features a snapback closure, and comes in five colors: black, white, light grey, dark grey, and navy. Fits a head circumference range of 22″-24″ and a height of 6.5″. See more baseball caps here.

Dad hats are, as Redbubble puts it, the “slouchier, less structured cousin” of the baseball cap. Rather than being rigid, each cap is made of five soft fabric panels and a fabric adjuster strap with metal buckle. The dad hat comes in five colors: black, white, beige, slate grey, and navy. This cap also fits a head circumference range of 22″-24″ and a height of 6.5″. Check out dad hats here.

Bucket hats are back in style, according to Redbubble, and I have to admit – they do look comfy! Made from 100% breathable cotton and featuring ventilation eyelets to keep you even cooler on hot days, these hats are lightweight, easy to pack, and easy to spot clean, too. These bucket hats really seem to live up to their name, as each measures 3″ from the base of the brim to the crown. They are available in five colors: black, white, navy, sand, and light pink. Shop the full selection of bucket hats here.

4. Backpacks

Pictured: Inventory – Rainbow Pride Black, Colorful Covers – Blue, and Dragonscale – Ruby Red

New to my storefront this year are backpacks! These bags are constructed from durable, 100% polyester fabric, and have padded, adjustable shoulder straps and a laminated lining. In addition to the zippered compartment on the front of the bag, there’s also a laptop pocket built into the interior and a mesh side pocket on the exterior.

I am truly excited about adding these to my store – once I started getting creative with the backpack template, I just couldn’t stop playing with it! I’m really pleased with how all of my designs turned out, especially my Inventory Pride collection and my brand new Dragonscale designs. Click here to explore all of the backpack styles currently available in my shop.

5. Duffle bags

Pictured: Itty Bitty Bats – All Hallow’s Eve, Inventory – Lesbian Pride Pink, and Dragonscale – Sapphire Blue

Also new to Redbubble’s bag department are these duffle bags, which are made from the same 100% polyester fabric as their backpacks and also have a laminated lining. The bags have internal and external pockets and a removable padded strap, and are available in two sizes: small (measuring 9.5″ tall and 19.5″ long) and large (measuring 12″ tall and 23″ long). I was really happy with how all of my repeating patterns looked on these new bags, especially my new Halloween-themed bats! See all of the duffle bags in my store here.

6. Desk Mats and Mouse Pads

Pictured: Dragonscale – Emerald Green, Potion Panic – Black, Itty Bitty Bats – All Hallow’s Eve, and Dragonscale – Pearl Grey

Perfect for any computer desk or workspace, whether you need a surface for a keyboard or playing cards! The only difference between the new mouse pad and desk mat is size: the former is 9.5″ by 8″, while the latter is 31.5″ by 15.5″. Both are 3mm thick and have a micro-weave polyester surface that works with optical and laser mice, and the anti-slip rubber base and anti-fray edges mean these products stay put and stay intact. They also have a pill-resistant surface that can be easily spot cleaned. There are so many designs in my shop that already look tailor-made for these new products, so don’t miss out: check out mouse pads here and desk mats by clicking here.

7. Magnets

Pictured: Horny for Halloween, Come Bye, and Twisted Tentacles

Magnets: the easiest way to add personality to your fridge! Printed and die-cut from vinyl with a 4mm white border, these magnets are thin, flexible, and come in three sizes: small (about 2.8″), medium (about 3.7″), and large (about 5.5″). I love magnet because they’re like less-permanent stickers that let you make any metal object more exciting, whether you’re passionate about dogs, undersea creatures, or – in my case – Halloween! If you’re as perennially excited about spooky season as I am, don’t forget to check out my new Horny for Halloween design before you click here to see the rest of my magnet collection.

8. Jigsaw Puzzles

Pictured: Twisted Tentacles and Roll for Initiative – Green

At long last – we’ve got jigsaw puzzles! I’m already full of ideas for new art to make, just for this product. Redbubble offers five sizes of puzzles for multiple skill levels, allowing customers to choose between 30-piece, 100-piece, 252-piece, 500-piece, and even 1000-piece options. Each puzzle is cut from high-quality chipboard, features a sublimated art print, and comes in a nice little metal tin with an image of the art on the lid. This makes it a great gift idea, too! Shop more puzzles here.

9. Pet Blankets

Pictured: Buffalo Plaid with Tennis Balls and Buffalo Plaid with Bones

Redbubble’s new pet department is now home to a line of dog- and cat-friendly products, including these cozy blankets! Being made from 100% polyester fleece means they’re 100% machine washable, with one side featuring a sublimated art print and the other a solid, off-white color. Pet blankets are available in two sizes: medium (30″ by 40″ and suitable for small pets), and large (50″ by 40″ and suitable for medium/large dogs).

I’m thrilled that Redbubble is finally offering pet-related items, since I have several designs in my shop that are already perfectly suited for these sorts of products! You can browse even more designs on pet blankets here.

10. Pet Bandanas

Pictured: Buffalo Plaid with Paw Prints, Puppy Pattern – Bones, and Puppy Pattern – Tennis Balls

Is there a four-legged friend on this planet who DOESN’T look even cuter wearing a bandana? Trick question: of course not! Redbubble knows this, and has made this quintessential pet accessory available in two sizes to accommodate multiple species and breeds; the small bandana measures 20″ on the longest side while the large measures 29″ on the longest side, and both are designed to fit over standard pet collars. The triangle shape makes these bandanas easy to tie on, and being constructed from medium-weight polyester fabric means they’re durable and machine washable. There were far too many cute bandana designs to show off in this post, so don’t forget to explore the rest of the collection by clicking here!

11. Pet Mats

Pictured: Tartan Plaid with Bones, Tartan Plaid with Paw Prints, and Tartan Plaid with Tennis Balls

The last new products on today’s list are shaped pet mats: fish for cats, and bones for dogs. Designed for dinnertime, both types of mats are spill- and slip-resistant thanks to a polyester shell with non-skid backing and a polyurethane memory foam core. The artwork on the top of each mat is an edge-to-edge sublimation print and made to be fade-resistant, meaning that it’ll still look great after long-term pet-related use. These are just a few of the designs that I currently have available for these cute little mats, so be sure to check out the full selection here.

That’s the last of my newest batch of uploads, but I’m hoping to be sharing even more content soon. I’d like to do some product reviews so that readers can see the difference between the various face masks on offer from Redbubble, Society6, and so on, and I have even more ideas for more art projects that I can’t wait to get off the ground!

I’m honestly feeling pretty inspired by all of the new items Redbubble is offering, but I’d also love to know what my readers would like to see next. So! Did something in this post catch your eye? Or maybe you thought I missed the mark? Don’t be shy – let me know in the comments, and don’t forget to hit the follow button so you won’t miss out on any future updates.
